Account Executive
The Account Executive position’s primary function is to expand the VaultLogix customer base by finding, presenting, closing and maintaining new business opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
The VaultLogix Account Executive position includes all aspect of the sales cycle; prospecting, researching, presenting, and closing. Additional responsibilities include:
- Achieve sales quota
- Prepare account plans and identify significant players and DM’s
- Forecast, cold call, generate proposals and close new business
- Build and foster relationships with VaultLogix partners
- Identify and assess weaknesses of key competitors within accounts
- Determine client needs and communicate the benefits of VaultLogix solutions, capabilities, value, features and special offers as appropriate.
Must possess strong written/verbal communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Also be self-motivated, work independently and most importantly, a team player with the ability to work effectively with others.
Job Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience of proven high tech sales (Data Storage, Internet, etc).
- Microsoft office and powerpoint.
- Proof of consistent quota overachievement.
- Data storage, remote backup or internet access experience is preferable.
- BA/BS or equivalent experience.

Service Engineer
The Service Engineer (SE) oversees technical support for customers using VaultLogix Internet Vault and provides technical assistance to the sales team or route issues to the appropriate department. The SE will also provide recommendations to customers for data backup and our other services, establish policy configurations and perform restores for customers and develop an understanding of how customer applications interact with VaultLogix's services. In addition, the SE will escalate customer issues to Second Level Support, follow up on after hours trouble tickets, help define and document all procedures and processes, provide email and phone support to the VaultLogix customer base and work with other departments to resolve customer’s issues. Daily Responsibilities
Proactive Customer Support –
Review Backup Sets for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers on a daily basis.
- Tier 1 Customers are defined as wholesale partners or customers with greater than 10 compressed GB.
Installations –
Complete scheduled installations and provide assistance to wholesale partners that are in the process of completing an installation.
- Follow up with customers after the completion of an installation to verify that the service is functioning properly.
Reactive Customer Support –
Provide expert and creative solutions to user problems.
Education and Experience
- Minimum 2 years technical support experience.
- Experience with SQL, Exchange.
- Motivated, self-starter, excellent documentation and follow up, quick learner.
Strong problem solving and logical analysis skills as well as substantial technical background.
